Grants of up to £1,000 are available to parish councils, community and sports groups to help fund local community projects. COLBURN TOWN COUNCIL CO-OPTED A NEW COUNCILLOR AT THE MONTHLY MEETING ON MONDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2021

 We are delighted to welcome a new member to the council, Councillor Akuila Tutora who was co opted on to the Council on Monday 18th October 2021   All the Councillors are looking looking forward to working with Akuila.  We now have a full Council membership of all the areas of the Town.

NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL  INFORMATION ROADWORKS ON COLBURN LANE STARTING THIS WEEK Residents of Constantine Ave and Constantine Grove will be granted access from the traffic management ambassadors. However, residents may be required to wait a short while or park up and access the property on foot. This will depend on where exactly the works are taking place at the time. Residents of streets off the eastern side of Colburn Lane will be encouraged to access / egress Catterick Road via Forest Dr and Fourth / Fifth Avenue.

RICHMONDSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL Community Investment Fund receives another £486,000 to support local community projects Members of the District Council's Corporate Board agreed the extra funding last night (12th October). This funding must be spent before March 2023 when local government reorganisation will see the closure of the scheme. Funding has previously been given to fund village hall refurbishments, play parks, community gardens, sports schemes and facility upgrades. Communities should apply now...
