In the new recycling scheme 

 GLASS MUST NOW BE KEPT SEPARATE  either by a divider  which slides into the middle of your current green box so you separate your glass  If you do not have a lot of glass.

  If you have a lot of glass you will need a seperate black box .

Both the Black box and dividers can be collected from the COLBURN LIBRARY AT THE RICHMOND DISTRICT COUNCIL OFFICE WINDOW.

ALL GLASS AND CONTAINERS MUST BE RINSED CLEAN AND EMPTY OF FOOD & LIQUID.

 White bags for paper and card can be collected from the library too. 

 In the bags blue or white you can now put in Newspaper/magazines,Greeting cards, All paper & envelopes, Yellow pages, Junk mail & Shredded paper 

ALL CARD :  Brown, Grey, Corrugated, Egg boxes, Cardboard Tubes, food packaging card.  

ALL MUST BE FLAT PACKED AND CONTAINED IN THE BAGS

BUT NO TAKEAWAY CONTAINERS OR PIZZA BOXES , WALLPAPER, PHOTOS , BOOKS FISH & CHIP PAPERS OR POLYSTYRENE.

TEXTILES 

Can be put in plastic bag  untied  with your other recycling Clothes, Shoes, Towels and Sheets are accepted only.
