New Mayor of Colburn Elected

On Monday 16th May 2016 Councillor Melanie Bell was elected to stand as Mayor of Colburn . Councillor Helen Grant was elected as Deputy Mayor. They will be carrying the good work which has been done and continue to put Colburn on the map. The retiring Mayor Councillor Angie Dale was thanked by the Council for all of her hard work that she has done in the community over the past 3 years as Mayor. She will continue to sit on Colburn Town Council and carry on her good work.

OAP’S  Annual  Three Course Christmas Dinner

110 guests attended the Dinner, it was organised by Mrs Mary Dale, all food was cooked by Rachel Price and Volunteers served all the guests with their meals. The meals are totally free of charge and this event has been run by Mary since 1992. It shows real community spirit and everyone who attends enjoys it very much.
